I’m so thrilled about this fun branding project for Healthy Harvest Organics! Here’s a glimpse into the process including some initial drafts, the final logo, brand guide, and business cards.
A little about the client and project
Healthy Harvest Organics is a fourth generation family farm in northeast Ohio proudly starting a new generation of organic farming. And this family business has an impressive mission: to produce high quality healthy organic food in an environment that supports regenerative agriculture, local markets, and consumer education.
I kicked off this branding project with Healthy Harvest Organics with a thorough design questionnaire to help narrow down their target market and design preferences. Next, I moved on to an initial round of pencil and paper sketches, trying to lock down a few solid concepts for the design. After going through many, many not-so-great ideas, I finally landed on a handful that were worth bringing to life on the computer. Here’s a look at a few initial concepts:
The finished product
After seeing the initial logo ideas, we went back and forth for a few rounds of revisions. That’s when we landed on the final product—which includes five vegetables: one to represent each member of their family. Such a wonderful way to add an extra layer of meaning to the brand!
